By AIRPLANE via Manchester Airport (See you local Airport for
price), by TRAIN from Manchester City Centre out from Victoria Station,
it costs about £3.00 ($5), by Taxi from Manchester about £15.00 ($25), by BUS
from Manchester £2 ($3.50)On foot, well just head for the A635 and
watch for the signposts, its about 12 miles (Backpackers welcome).

Why do we get lots of Visitors and Celebrities from overseas ?
Most of the Australian Cricket Team, Rugby Team and many of the local
football (Soccer) celebrities of Manchester United, Manchester City, Oldham
Athletic (The Latics), Stalybridge Celtic, Ashton United, Ashton Curzon...and
Oh yeah Mossley AFC, Patsy Kensit, Thora Hird, Mr C l,
Sting, Madonna, Harold Steptoe
and Topsy all call at the The Stamford at least some time during the
year or at least when they are in the area.
This is old question which cannot be answered in a few lines on a page...I
mean, good god, Quantum Physics couldn't explain them, how am I going
